January’s picture of the month

Tuesday, January 1st, 2008

I hope everyone is enjoying the first day of 2008. I love starting the new year fresh and ready to begin gearing up for a new season, so today I am cleaning my office. Yes, I know it isn’t too exciting, but for some reason a clean desk really makes me happy. Today it is 40 degrees in Georgia, which makes even easier to stay in. This year, I thought I would try something new to get the year started, so I want to start a picture-of-the-month. If you want to submit your own, I might feature yours next month.

  1. If you want to save it as your desktop wallpaper, just click on the image.
  2. This should bring the image up in a new window.
  3. Right click and save the image to your desktop.
  4. Go into your computer’s control panel (preferences for Mac).
  5. Click on “display or “wallpaper.”
  6. From there, locate your image on your desktop. Enjoy!

The Oscars are coming

Monday, February 5th, 2007

I love old Hollywood movies, so when you combine my love of that era with photography, I buckle at the knees. Vanity Fair does this little issue every year where the the Oscar nominees are featured in amazing photographs. This year’s preview of the issue just blows me away and I can’t wait to get my hands on the real deal. Annie Leibowitz, you have outdone yourself once again. Swoon…
