So, I don't mean to brag...but Jessica and I are pretty awesome. Some might say...sublime.

I know, I know. You clicked that tab expecting to hear the usual stuff. How we never expected to be doing what we're doing, we just picked up a camera one day and 'whoops! people started paying us to take pictures!' or maybe you thought you'd hear about all the fancy pedigrees and awards we've gotten over the years. or the list of random quirks.

Okay, that's not us. We're not faking this. and we certainly didn't come by this dream job of ours by accident.

That's why I'll say it: we've got the education (how does magazine journalism, UGA, sound?). We actually have real, honest-to-goodness journalism experience (like my 5+ years as a television reporter and producer). we've also gotten people talking (work most recently profiled & featured Rangefinder and Jezebel magazines). There's more; if you want to know just ask. We don't do shy.

But the best part is--that's not even why I think we're so awesome. We're just plain fun to have around. Really, you should meet Jessica. She is straightforward, but graceful about it. She calls me out when i screw up, but i have never, not once, felt bad about it. She is an open book. Plus, she has a knack for picking out the best bag in the store. Oh, and she makes me want to be nicer.

Here's what she says about me. It makes me happy:

"You are very easy to talk to, like a long-lost sister. You want a better world for your kids, but without being preachy, and you make a mean pizza." (That last part is totally true. I do. I also know that she likes that I can make friends with a doorknob.)

Anyway, we like to be around each other, and we love to be around happy couples. We blend in at the soft moments and help out in the not-so-soft ones. We understand.

You want gorgeous memories of the day you knit your soul with another. You want your first heirloom: clean, classic pictures that provide a window into your great happiness.You want someone you feel comfortable having around, that you trust and enjoy.
